Jodal Health Care, in the regular course of business, collects data and information on behalf of a wide range of clients. The reasons for data collection are as diverse as our clients, and might include: assisting in resolving a customer query, supplying service information, capturing customer survey data, for account management purposes, registering to receive corporate updates, fulfilling an order for service, or customers taking part in other various customer consultation opportunities.
All Jodal Health Care Staff ensure that the information gathered for various service programs and initiatives are limited to the collection of personal information which is necessary for the specific use intended, and that the knowledge and consent of the individual is obtained for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information.
Clients can take comfort in knowing that all personal information gathered remains their personal property. Client information will vary from client to client and program to program, and may include name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and possibly some demographic information. THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS
In many situations, Jodal Health Care works with third parties who provide services including but not limited to the provision of internet services, data analysis and management, data keying and a variety of other services. Personal information may be shared or gathered by these third parties, in the course of providing these services to Jodal Health Care, however these organizations must also adhere to all Jodal Health Care’s policies specific to the privacy of personal information. In all instances, the data remains the property of Jodal Health Care’s clients.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS / EXCEPTIONS
Jodal Health Care may disclose personal information if we are required to do so either by law, to comply with a legal process or government requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jodal Health Care, its’ customers, or the general public.
Any request from any individual or organization is treated with the utmost respect for individual client confidentiality. Jodal Health Care will immediately contact the client to obtain consent for disclosure unless the client has previously consented in disclosures or agreements. This process ensures the right of the individual under the Privacy Legislation, as well as the client / service provider confidentiality agreements obtained at the initiation of service.
Jodal Health Care uses a variety of security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information in our possession. Jodal Health Care makes every reasonable effort to ensure that this personal information is maintained in a secure environment. Data is supported in-house on internally maintained servers and are protected by multi-level security including firewalls, the latest anti-virus software, and password protected access to client data.
